What is Shannon’s Favorite Course?
December is a great time to focus on personal and professional development and find ways to learn more about the things you are passionate about. I like to turn to Mind Tools to read articles or listen to podcasts about those topics that I’m interested in but don’t need a formal training. This week I took some to listen about Cultural Competency. I enjoyed this conversation about cultural considerations and how to navigate cross cultural communication. The conversation went into why cultural considerations are so important not only from a business standpoint but also when looking at how small the world is getting and how often we interact with people from different cultures. Not all of the information was new but it’s always good to hear different perspectives.
